Wendy Berland became Administrator of the Science Education Department in November 2009. As Administrator, Wendy has administrative and financial responsibility for the research and other special initiatives in the Science Education Department. Prior to her appointment as Administrator in the SED, Wendy served as the Administrator in the Division of Women’s Health at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston Massachusetts and Project Director on numerous studies in Boston at Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare and Brigham and Women’s Hospital; in San Francisco California at the University of California at San Francisco; and in New Haven Connecticut at Yale University School of Medicine. She was also the Research Coordinator at the Straub Foundation, a non-profit foundation affiliated with Straub Medical Center in Honolulu Hawaii.
