About:
Harsh Kumar is a post-doc fellow at HCO and works on Time -Domian Astronomy. His key research interest revolves around Kilonovae, GRB afterglows, FRB counterpart. He recently found interest in Super-luminous Supernovae where he is trying to solve the puzzle of late time bumps and presence of, He in these transients.
Education:
Bachelors and Masters degree from University of Delhi with a specialization in Astrophysics, Nuclear physics
Ph.D. at IIT Bombay
Hobbies/Interests:
Harsh enjoys watching soccer​ (sorry it’s called football) especially Messi, follow Indian Cricket and play Badminton in his free time. He regularly watches Formula 1 and a ton of movies.
