Join us May 21st at 7:30 PM in Phillips Auditorium for a special Public Observatory Night about Henrietta Swan Leavitt. An astronomer who revolutionized astronomy by discovering the relationship between a star’s brightness and the rate at which it pulses.

If you’re one of the lucky few with tickets to the May 21 Public Observatory Night, please note that there’s now an optional earlier start time of 7:00 PM! Arrive early to see original Harvard Plate Stack artifacts linked to Henrietta Leavitt and meet artist and author Anna Von Mertens, along with guest speakers Louise Breuval and Caroline Huang. As originally scheduled, talks begin at 7:30 PM, followed by rooftop telescope viewing—weather permitting.
